Why Visual Art ?
Art is important because it is a part of all of us. If you look around you, you can see art in everything.
Art helps us see beauty in the world around us. Can you imagine a world without art?
Before languages were created, art was the unifying form of communication and expression among people. Even today, art helps us express emotions and ideas that, sometimes, words are unable to.
Along with making creativity flourish, through art children can develop motor skills, cognitive skills, language skills and social-emotional skills.

Join us if you would like to try your hand at exploring visual art, and are excited to meet more young artists from around the country!
This course is a part of Pitaara Immersive offerings designed to enable young learners to experience choice-based learning and deep dive into an interest area.
Schedule
The sessions will take place at 4pm IST (Delhi).
Each session will last for 90 minutes and take place via Zoom.
Session 1 - 6th Apr, Tuesday
Session 2 - 8th Apr, Thursday
Session 3 - 13th Apr, Tuesday
Session 4 - 15th Apr, Thursday
Session 5 - 20th Apr, Tuesday
Session 6 - 22nd Apr, Thursday
Session 7 - 27th Apr, Tuesday

Cost
We offer our courses at 4 price bands. We invite you to pay whatever works best for you.
The lower bands (Band A and B) are subsidised to ensure that the money does not deter anyone from access to learning. Band C and D enable us to sustain this model and support scholarship participants.

We offer upto 100% scholarships on a need-basis.

Meet the Facilitator
Manyata Malhotra
Manyata has been a facilitator in the education space for over 6 years. She really enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences and spaces for children.
She explored visual art in her school years and created 15 studio art pieces. Her studio art pieces were part of exhibitions as well.
Manyata is also the Co-Founder of Pitaara. 3 very talented young facilitators from the previous Pitaara Immersive, will support Manyata facilitate this course.
