Step 1

This page will help you understand what the different program elements are and what your child's experience will be.
Step 2
Fill the online application form
Different families are at different stages of their journey with Self-Designed Learning (SDL). This application form helps us understand where you are and what your aspirations and motivations are. This, in turn, will help us gauge if Pitaara UnSkool can offer what you are looking for.
Step 3
You will hear from us within 7 days
Once you fill the application form we will review it and get back to you within a week with next steps.
Step 4
Online Interview
If we feel that Pitaara UnSkool is a good fit for you, we will schedule an online conversation with you.
This is a space for us to get to know each other better and for you to ask any questions you may have.
Step 5
Joining Pitaara UnSkool
After the interview we will mutually decide whether you will join UnSkool.
If you do join, which we hope you do, we will immediately start the on-boarding process.
This will include a program orientation, creating a personalised student dashboard and setting up the first mentor meeting.
Note to Parents
Self-Designed Learning (SDL) is the way ahead for education system. Anyone who has carefully reflected on their own education or spent any time looking at the current education system; would identify that it is irrelevant, redundant and inefficient at its best. Still, being products of the same system, most of us find it difficult to move away from it.
Different families are at different stages of their journey. Some of you may be dabbling in the world of alternative education while continuing with traditional schooling. Others may still be researching and looking for a hybrid solution. Some may be ready to take the step to leave the traditional system all together. While a few are already on the path of SDL. To understand where you are in your journey we have created the application process.
The form helps us understand your motivations and inspirations, and helps give us a window into who you are. The interview helps us gauge if Pitaara Unleashed is a space that can offer you what you are looking for.
This year, we are offering the UnSkool Program only to 30-40 children. Therefore, we want to identify families who are aligned to, or genuinely curious about the Self-Designed Learning approach. This doesn’t mean that the program is limited only to unschoolers or homeschoolers, but for sure, it’s not for people who are completely happy with conventional education. Unskool is designed such that, anyone can experience self-designed learning in a way that suits them.
